  2. In the congregation where I worship, every Sunday night about a half dozen members will leave after Bible class right before preaching service begins to go the county jail to teach inmates. When they leave during the service are they forsaking the assembly?  It is a good thing to reach out to teach the prisoners, but I have been  taught for many years that your outside teaching should take place when your services are not in session.

  1. What about those in the Christian Church that were baptized for the remission of sins, but have only attended the Christian Church? Some believe they are saved but erring, others say one cannot be taught wrong and baptized right. What is the truth on this matter?

  1. On placing membership, does one have to make a “formal declaration” of wanting to place membership in a congregation or is one considered a member by regular attendance and participation with a congregation without a formal statement? Some in continuous sin claim they are not subject to the elders since they did not “place membership.”
  2. Do you believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, in his present glorified state, now is the Spirit (the Holy Spirit) that fills his body, the church (2 Cor. 3:17-ASV)?
