Matthew 6:5 says, “And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.” These are the words of Jesus, yet people today complain that they can’t pray in schools, at sporting events etc. What do they not understand?
  2. Is it a sin for a Christian to listen to gospel music played with instruments as a form of entertainment?
  3. Do we have any record of Peter’s repentance and forgiveness after denying the Lord three times?
  4. In a Bible class, a brother said that the example of Sardis teaches that an individual staying in a sinful congregation is authorized. I disagreed, and this was brought up for several weeks. So here is the question: Does Sardis in Revelation 3 teach that faithful brethren can remain in an unfaithful congregation?
