  1. In John 1:33, John the Baptist says of Jesus, “I did not know Him” until he saw the Spirit descend upon him in the form of a dove upon the occasion of the Lord’s baptism. This seems a bit odd due to the fact that they were not only kinsmen, but their mother’s had known of their son’s connection since the time prior to their births. Is Luke 1:80 the only Biblical explanation for John the Baptist “not knowing” Jesus?
  2. Two of us ladies have been in a discussion about how to give our contribution. Each of us give but differently. Both of us get Social Security checks. One gives monthly when she gets her check. The other divides her contribution to give it weekly. Her reason is she does not want others who might be watching to think she does not give. Are both approaches acceptable?
  3. What kind of mourning is being discussed in Matthew 5:4? Does this have to do with those grieving over the loss of loved ones or mourning over sins?
  4. A viewer has asked if we could go further into a question we addressed a few months back. The person said, “I have been married three times, my ex-wife three times also. I was her third husband and her my third wife. Both of my two previous wives have died, both of her previous two husbands have died. Neither one of us are Christians.” They have been attending services and want to become Christians. They asked, “If we do, can we continue to see each other and possibly get married again?”
