Please address this statement on tithing: “Even though this was a part of the law of the covenant of Israel in the Old Testament, I don’t think that everything God demanded of his people in the Old Testament is abrogated if the New Testament is silent about it. I would say that if the tithe were abrogated, we would expect to have an explicit teaching in the New Testament that says tithing is no longer in effect…I would say that, in the absence of any evidence of a repeal, tithing carries though into the New Testament.”
4. My Christian husband has quit attending worship which has really upset me. What should I do in this situation?
5. Why is it important for two people who love each other to take wedding vows in a formal ceremony? By just living together, if we decide to break up later, then we don’t have to go through all the legal entanglement of the courts and family and church.
