3. We are studying the beatitudes of Jesus in Matthew 5:3-12. What is the single more important lesson we should learn from this important study and why?

5. What have you found to be the most effective way to interest people in learning what the New Testament really teaches about worshiping according to God’s will? So many believe that worship according to their own will should be pleasing to God?

1. A husband who is not a member of the church commits adultery. He tells his Christian wife that he has done this wrong and asks her forgiveness, promising never to be guilty of such a sin again. In this situation, what steps should she take? How can she know he has truly repented? Should she divorce him or continue to live with him?
2. Can you explain the verbs used in 2 Peter 3:10 and their meaning in view of the idea that the Bible says the earth will abide for ever in Ecclesiastes 1:4?
3. What is the difference in hell and hades?
4. How were people who lived before the time of Christ saved?

1. I have a question about Acts 12:15. They said, “It must be his angel.” Does every person have an angel?
2. Is the “name it and claim it” doctrine of the word of faith movement Biblical?
3. In baptizing do the words, “I baptize you in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost” have to be stated before the immersion in water? An example was given that John the Baptist didn’t say so for Jesus.
4. My question is can a person who has been married before becoming a Christian, divorce his wife and remarry and still be an elder in the Lord’s church? His first wife is still living.
