  1. Those who teach saints only doctrine state that the “to all” phrase of 2 Corinthians 9:13 refers to additional Christians outside of Jerusalem and that this verse does not offer proof of general benevolence to all men (non Christians). How does one counter this teaching since several commentaries also support the idea of an additional group of saints in the verse?
  2. Please explain First Thessalonians 3:13 and First Thessalonians 4:14 and specifically these phrases: “At the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints” and “…them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him”?
  3. If salvation is not by works of righteousness which we have done, and baptism is a work of “righteousness,” then how can water baptism be a part of salvation? (Titus 3:5; Matthew 3:16)
  4. What does “things under the earth” mean in Philippians 2:10?
